The first of three illustrations exploring mediums and the varying emotions in The Syringa Tree, written by playwright, Pamela Gien. The production has since been adapted into a novel with the same name.

This original illustration was purchased by Education without Borders and presented to the author/playwright at a fundraiser in support of a high school in Guguletu, South Africa.
